The couple legit had the most Punjabi wedding in Bollywood! The dance, the drama, the pomp—it was all there. From Sid’s OTT baarat band to Kiara’s breathtaking kaleeras, here are four things about the wedding that screamed Punjabi-ness.

Alexa, Play Dhol Jageero Da

Punjabis are known for their never-ending love for dhol and dancing! Newlyweds Sid and Kiara were no exception. After the wedding, the couple arrived in style at Sid’s Delhi house and the two were welcomed with dhol beats!

While Sid and Kiara didn’t go the Punjabi route for their wedding outfits, they did make it up with their post-shaadi look. For the grah pravesh, Kiara and Sid were twinning in red. While Kiara wore a red Manish Malhotra suit set, Sidharth, too, looked every bit handsome in a red kurta with white pyjamas. What got my attention was his embroidered Phulkari shawl. Does it get any more Punjabi?

Delhi Ka Tadka In #SidKiara Wedding

You can take a Delhi munda out of the city, but you can’t take Delhi out of him. Sid legit booked a wedding band from Chandini Chowk, Delhi for his Jailsamer wedding and went for full shenanigans including floral chatris and a decked-up ghodi. Now that’s what a proper Punjabi baraat looks like!

The Gorgeous Kaleeras & Chooda

Traditionally, Sindhi brides don’t wear chooda and kaleeras. But Kiara married a Punjabi munda and readily embraced his vibrant tradition. In fact, she took it a notch higher with personalised ombré choora and adorable kaleere and had all the 2023 brides taking notes.

When It Comes To Food, Punjabi Weddings Always Win

For Punjabis, serving food is a love language. Sid and Kiara’s wedding was also full of love and loads of yummy bites. They went extra with 100 dishes from 10 different countries. The elaborate menu included Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Mexican delicacies along with South Indian, Rajasthani, Punjabi, and Gujarati specialities. I am feeling full just thinking about it.

Now that’s what you call Punjabi shiz!
