The internet was taken by storm on February 7 with Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding pictures! It was a larger-than-life celebration and we’ve got all the details right here.
From the professionals who put it all together to the unique elements that made it an affair to remember, here’s everything you need to know about Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding.
The #SidKiara Love Story
While most of us think Sid and Kiara met on the sets of Shershaah, their first meeting was at the Lust Stories wrap party. Soon after, the two began dating. While there were rumours of their breakup in 2022, the couple eventually reconciled and decided to marry after four years of dating.
A Three-Day Affair
The wedding guests started arriving at the venue on Feb 5. The festivities began with a welcome lunch on Feb 6, followed by the sangeet ceremony in the evening. The haldi and mehendi took place on the morning of Feb 7. The pheras were reportedly around 4 PM later that evening.
An Exotic Rajasthani Venue!
#SidKiara opted for a destination wedding at the Suryagarh, Jaisalmer. Known as the ‘gateway to the Thar desert,’ it has a picturesque courtyard, a sunset patio, and beautiful havelis. The couple took their pheras at the bawadi, which is fashioned after a traditional stepwell and is a super romantic setting!
The Professionals Who Brought It All Together!
The wedding decor was designed by ALTAIR by Janki Desai. The entire venue was decked in white flowers from Floraindia Designs. Candles and props were supplied by Deepak Sharma’s Shine Collection. The dreamy lighting was courtesy Wireframe Concepts. The wedding planners for the event were Motwane Entertainment & Weddings. Delhi-based event designers, V Square Tents and House of Furniture took care of the tentage.
The beautiful pictures were clicked by House On The Clouds, who’ve previously captured Alia and Ranbir’s wedding. Filming of the event was done by The Wedding Filmer. DJ Ganesh, a celeb fave, was roped in for the entertainment and so were the duo Hari & Sukhmani. The sangeet mixes and mashups were produced by Acoustique Productions and musician Gurmeet Dhir while Jea Band from Delhi played at the baraat!
The Bride & Groom’s Dance Performances
The bride’s dance performance was choreographed by Lights Camera Dance by Nirmiti Jhaveri, Mana Unadkat, and Lavannia Harwani. The groom’s performance was choreographed by Kamna Arora and Utsav Malhotra of YSDC Wedding Choreography.
Good Food Sets The Mood
As per reports, the menu from Sidharth Malhotra & Kiara Advani’s wedding included delectable Rajasthani delicacies along with cuisines from 10 different countries! From South Indian, Punjabi, and Gujarati dishes to Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Mexican, it was an elaborate spread.
Decoding Kiara’s Bridal Look
Kiara’s pink look stole our hearts, but it’s the little details that make her outfit even more special. Let’s take a look:
The Designer: Manish Malhotra has always been Kiara’s go-to designer, and the actress made sure he was a part of her special day too. She even debuted Manish Malhotra Bespoke Diamond Jewellery.
Subtle Elements That Make A Statement: The lehenga featured handwork inspired by Roman architecture since it is Sid and Kiara’s favourite holiday destination! Real Swarovski crystals added MM’s signature sparkle.
Veil Of Dreams: The sheer scalloped dupatta with a rani pink border added a hint of contrast to the look.
A Lesson In Accessorising: Ranveer Singh once said, “Sindhis love their diamonds.” And now we’re finally convinced! Her statement choker and studs featured handcut diamonds and rare Zambian emeralds. The contrast of green and pastel pink was breathtaking! Adding to the look was her diamond maangtika and kadas, along with the ombre choora.
Kiara’s Engagement Ring: We reached out to jeweller Priyanka Rakyan for deets on the engagement ring.
“Kiara’s engagement ring is a gorgeous 7-carat oval-shaped diamond sitting on a sleek, thin band, making the diamond the total focus. Assuming it is at least F colour and of VS1 clarity, I can imagine it costing over 1 crore,” shared Priyanka.
Not Your Basic Kaleeras: Kiara’s customised kaleeras by Mrinalini Chandra included the couple’s initials, a dedication to Sid’s beloved pet, Oscar, and a tag for Rome, their favourite travel destination.

The Artist Behind The Art: The gorgeous look was put together by celebrity stylist Lakshmi Lehr and Dolly Jain was the drapist.
The Mehendi Artist: Kiara’s minimal henna design was done by the renowned mehendi artist, Veena Nagda. Veena has previously done the mehendi for celebs like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, and Radhika Merchant.
Hair & Makeup: The natural makeup look is becoming increasingly popular among brides, and we love it! Kiara’s makeup and hair were done by MUA Lekha Gupta and hairstylist Amit Thakur. Her makeup featured warm smokey eyes, soft contouring, fluttery lashes, and nude lips. Her hair was styled into a centre-parted bun with bright pink flowers that shone through the sheer dupatta.

The Most Eligible Dulha!
Sidharth looked fab in a custom Manish Malhotra creation. The gold sherwani was decked with hints of ivory, threadwork, gold zardozi, and badla work. The groom too wore Manish Malhotra Polki Jewellery by Raniwala 1881, which was encrusted with extremely fine uncut diamonds. He finished his regal look with a gold pagdi.
Decoding Looks From The Other Functions
Mehendi Look: For her mehendi ceremony, Kiara ditched bright colours in favour of an ivory chikankari lehenga. This outfit was also a Manish Malhotra creation. The lehenga was adorned with sequins that radiated the MM sheen! The ensemble included a statement blouse with pearl detailing and a scalloped hemline. MM brought the outfit to life with a vibrant yellow dupatta covered in beads and Swarovski crystals. Dolly Jain, a celeb fave, draped the outfit. Kiara went all out with her jewellery, opting for a heavy polki neckpiece encrusted with kundans and diamonds, as well as matching earrings. Her mehendi was enough to adorn her hands, so she skipped the kangans. The groom complemented his bride in a mustard kurta bandhi by the same designer teamed with a Kashmiri shawl. Overall, a marvel!
Reception Look: The couple hosted a reception in Mumbai for all their industry friends. The event’s theme was clearly Indo-western, and Kiara ate! She looked stunning in a Manish Malhotra custom gown. The one-of-a-kind fishtail gown had a cream-toned silk top and a long black velvet skirt. Her statement emerald neckpiece, however, stole the show! Sidharth also looked stunning in a black shimmery blazer and velvet pants.
Mehmaan & Parivaar!
According to sources, around 150 guests attended Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s wedding, including the bride and groom’s family and close friends. Manish Malhotra flew down to Jaisalmer with the bride, while Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, and Mira Kapoor arrived the following day. The Ambanis also showed up since Isha Ambani is Kiara’s childhood friend. Juhi Chawla, a close friend of the bride’s father, also attended the wedding with her husband.
Kiara and Sidharth’s reception was at St.Regis, Mumbai was quite a star-studded affair and we spotted all our favourite celebs dressed in glistening attires! Take a look:
