Shaadi season is upon us. It is a matter of just a few weeks before our Instagram feed gets crowded with enviable pictures from destination shaadis and vibrant pre-wedding festivities. Now, just like the past year, we are anticipating some big celebrity weddings and for that exact reason, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are definitely on our radar at the moment. Rumour has it that the two plan to tie the knot this year, and there’s been a lot of speculation about it already.
Just last month, Lara Dutta had sent the gossip mills churning by saying “I believe that they [Ranbir & Alia] are getting married this year.” However, we didn’t take it too seriously given that everyone has been talking about their shaadi all this while and nothing seems to be actually materialising. However, looks like things are finally in motion and a big fat Bollywood shaadi might happen sooner than we are anticipating. Both Ranbir and Alia were recently snapped in Jodhpur and we have a feeling that they might be scouting for the perfect wedding venue in the city. As you might be aware, Jodhpur offers some gorgeous heritage properties fit for a destination wedding. Remember Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ gorgeous wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace?
However, that’s not all. Last week, Alia was spotted inspecting the site for the under-construction Kapoor bungalow and a little birdie tells us that the couple would be shifting into the grand property post their wedding.
Well, Ranbir and Alia’s recent activities definitely hint at an impending shaadi. Don’t be too surprised if you end up waking up to their wedding pictures one of these days, ‘coz you know that’s how they roll in B-town.
