Everything That You Can Adopt As Airport Travel Style That Is Not A Pyjama+Pullover

Picture this... You have yet again overslept and while you wake up with a jolt, cursing your alarm for not going off, realise you have a plane to catch in under an hour! The easiest garbs to dress up in at this situation are a pair of joggers with a snuggly sweatshirt or pullover even. And if we are being honest, with so many women going for the athleisure route for their airport style, we are kind of worried that none of their alarm clocks work. Pyjamas and pullovers are an airport look that has been done and dusted and needs to move on.

We have been craving for a few fresh looks to sport when you are travelling and fortunately we found some! Coming from Bollywood's most stylish ladies, these airport look references are sure to come in handy the next time you are flying out and couldn't be bothered by a pair of joggers and cropped top. All of these outfits are super easy to wear, facilitating in easy travel style that will keep you looking chic while checking in and out of the airport.

1. Oversized Shirts

Deepika Padukone has been serving up major drool-worthy looks while at the Cannes Film Festival. Starting with this oversized shirt paired with tights ensemble, we figured out how to style our boyfriends' shirts with leggings and ankle boots for our travels.

POPxo Recommends: Oversized Shirt with Striped Taping (Rs 1,189)

2. Matched Separates

Flying out for an important meeting? Instead of your formal shift dress, opt for matching smart separates that are easier to manoeuvre around and can be changed in and out of at an airline bathroom as well. Kangana Ranaut kept it classy in a skirt and top combination that gave the illusion of a sexy LBD but is much easier to pull off than an actual one.

POPxo Recommends: Black Pencil Skirt With Slit (Rs 3,017)

3. Comfortable Semi Formals

Semi-formal clothing is a blessing in disguise for all the lazy girls who have to get decked up for work but hate those constricting trousers and shirts. Anushka Sharma shows us how to pull off comfy trousers and paired with a pretty top for a well put together airport look.

POPxo Recommends: Zara Paperbag Waist Culottes (Rs 2,290)

4. Jeans And An Interesting Tee

Graphic and logo tees are so in with the starts right now (remember the Gucci gang?). Revamp your usual jeans and a tee travel style by taking this look out of Kareena Kapoor's style catalogue. A graphic or logo tee with ripped mom jeans and heel, brilliant!

POPxo Recommends: Cropped Graphic T-Shirt (Rs 603)

5. Casual Ethnics

While we do adore Kangana Ranaut for wearing a saree on a flight, us mere mortals do not have a slew of stylists to travel with who help us out in case there is a tying type emergency! Instead, opt for demure and flowy kurtas paired with palazzos and chappals for your ethnic chapter of airport style.

POPxo Recommends: Grey Hand Block Printed Cotton Kurta (Rs 2,550)

6. Easy Trenches

airport looks kiara

Call it a bit much but we loved Kiara Advani's take on a simply cool airport look. Pairing her whimsical candy coloured trench with a pair of sneakers, this epitome of comfort looks like something you can wear for any number of long haul flights.

POPxo Recommends: Mahima Mahajan Trench Coat (Rs 16,000)

7. Ladylike Jumpsuits

Yes, jumpsuits! A lifesaver when you just can't find two separates the go with each other. You can opt to mix your girly pinafore style jumpsuits with slid tees and stylish slip-on.

POPxo Recommends: Striped Jumpsuit with Ruffled Panels (Rs 1,499)
