The Source is an all-you-can-rent-or-buy format store that has been frequented by many Bollywood stylists looking for a snazzy jacket or a quirky accessory.
Speaking about their collection, you can find anything and everything you need to create an ensemble. Clothes, shoes and accessories ranging from casuals to semi-formals and formals, ethnic wear like suits and sarees; even costume and stage wear. It often forms the sourcing hub for movies and very often, clothes from the films, advertisements, events etc make their way here.
The styles are a mix of original designs by the store owner and the rest are sourced from places like China, Thailand and sometimes even from nooks and corners of Mumbai. The rentals start from accessories at Rs 150, clothes from Rs 600 and go high up till Rs 15,000 (sarees are available as low as 2,500); depending upon the item you are looking for. The full rental price has to be paid up while renting, including a security deposit that will be refunded when the clothes are returned. Rentals can be held on to 4-5 days post which there will be an extra charge levied.
Talking about the collection, you are sure to find some of the most offbeat styles that you haven’t seen anywhere else. Their range of clothes and accessories is extensive, from the daintiest earring to an elaborate evening gown, there is something for everyone here.
The store also holds merchandise for men like blazers, shirts, shoes, sunglasses and watches.
