2. Menstrual Cups
Alternatives to tampons, menstrual cups too need to be inserted internally. They’re basically made of medical grade silicone that’s safe to be reused. The THINX underwear is supposed to hold about two tampons worth of period flow making them the ideal choice for almost anything. They won’t leak or smell, so if you can’t do pads and tampons buy yourself a few of these. The only downside is that they’re not easily available in India, you’ll have to get someone to bring you these.

5. Reusable Cloth Pads
These work just like regular pads, all you need to do is rinse them out and then toss them into the washing machine. They look very similar to your normal sanitary napkin and fold over the sides of your underwear. If you’re allergic to sanitary napkins and if you get rashes and all sorts of unpleasantries that time of the month, you’re really going to like these cloth pads.
