When the makers of Gossip Girl decided it was time for a reboot, I imagined it would be to tell us what the OG cast was up to now. However, that’s not what they had in mind as they quickly announced that the show would be featuring an all-new ensemble. Although I was disappointed just like everybody else, I decided to wait for the show. ‘Coz any Gossip Girl series would be better than none at all, right?
Now, after watching the reboot trailer, I can’t imagine why the makers would do that to us. I hated every bit of the all-new Gossip Girl reboot. TBH, I would’ve loved it if GG reboot had followed in the footsteps of ‘Friends’ and showed us a glimpse of what the Upper East siders were doing RN. We even had our list of questions ready for the cast; have a look.
Are Chuck & Blair Still Together?
You can’t blame us for saying this. Given that they declared their love for each other only to break it off every time, we can’t help but wonder if they are still together? Don’t get us wrong, we absolutely love the pair but we would like to know if they are still married to each other. Or have they gone back to their old ways?
Did Nate Get Lucky In Love?
Man, this was one character that deserved to have a happy ending. He was hopelessly looking for love right from the beginning and it was heartbreaking to watch him not find it. TBH, I was really rooting for Nate and Serena to get together in the end. But since that did not happen, we really want to know if Nate Archibald did settle down and if yes, who was the lucky girl?
Do Dan & Serena Have Kids?
After yearning for Serena for years, it was kinda adorbs to watch him win her in the final episode. They were sort of perfect for each other and I kinda have a feeling that theirs must’ve been a rock-solid marriage. We really want to know if they had kids. I can already imagine Serena twinning with her daughter. Or the family sharing a cozy brunch at a park on the Upper East side. Omg, tell us already!
Is Lily Still With Husband Number 1?
William, Ruffus, Klaus, who else? We’ve seriously lost track of all the men Lily Van Der Woodsen’s been married to. TBH, it was kinda difficult to keep up with her love life. Even though the end of the show saw her happily married to William, we wouldn’t be surprised if she was married to husband number 9 RN!
Did Little J Mess Up Again?
If there ever was a character on the show who managed to make things difficult for herself, it’s gotta be Jenny Humphrey. Her journey in the show had a lot of ups and downs-mostly downs.
Now, in the last episode of GG, it was revealed that she was a successful designer who worked together with Blair. However, one can only imagine how difficult is must be doing business with B. So, we want to know if once again got banned from the Upper East side?
That’s not all, I have a zillion more questions. Here’s hoping that the OG cast comes back on our screens one more time! Until then, am gonna go watch an episode or two from the previous seasons.
