We’re all locked up in our houses due to coronavirus pandemic and finding different ways to keep ourselves entertained. Let’s just admit that most of us have been binge-watching our favourite shows during the lockdown and Gossip Girl, my dear friends, is one of the shows we are crushing on all over again. But guess what? It is not just the juicy high school drama that’s keeping us glued, but fashion lovers like me keep going back to Serena and Blair anytime we need some style inspiration.

Classy and elegant
My favourite outfit from the show is Blair’s powder blue dress that she wore for her wedding to Chuck. The perfect mix of net and hand-embroidery with a touch of glitter, this beautiful dress is something I’d love to wear for an equally fancy occasion. Serena’s outfit– a classy grey trench coat which she has paired with with a black sling bag–is also on point.
Summery prints for the win!
Horizontal stripes are now evergreen, thanks to Blair and her amazing fashion sense. She added the right amount of colour to the outfit by pairing her blue striped dress with a contrasting pink pair of heels while sitting on the steps of the MET. And just look at Serena’s pretty tie-dye pink and red scarf. This one can instantly elevate any summer look.
Shining bright in yellow
Who doesn’t love yellow? And, leave it to Blair and Serena to pick the chicest yellow outfits for their summer in the Hamptons. While Blair is wearing a yellow and orange dress that is oh so summery, Serena can be seen pairing a yellow halter neck top with black shorts which are a staple that most of us already own.
Trends to the rescue
These two outfits are just too trendy to ignore. Notice the tired ruffles in Serena’s pastel yellow printed gown, that she wore for Lily’s wedding to Bart Bass? It gives a modern twist to the classic formal dress. Not to miss Blair’s tulle dress, which I would love to wear to a lunch date. Style on point indeed!
Can’t get enough of black & gold
Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are redefining black and gold in this one! While Serena can be seen wearing a sequined gold jacket over black, Blair has donned a black dress with gold accessories–both on her hair and around her neck.
Different shades of pink
Serena in this picture reminds me of Deepika Padukone’s character in Cocktail. Isn’t she slaying exactly like Veronica does in a tank top, palazzos and hat? Blair on the other hand, is rocking a floral frilled dress in different shades of pink.
Taking metallic up a notch!
I am in love with this metallic gold belted dress worn by Blair. Serena, on the other hand, is beautifully carrying off a strappy string slip dress in black and soft silver shade. Colour coordinated and so pretty!
