I still can’t believe it’s been more than a decade since Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year came out! The movie sure gave us some unrealistic college expectations. But it also gave us a stellar cast—Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, who made their debuts with the film.
Fast forward to 2023, they are not ‘students’ anymore. The trio has graduated to become Bollywood’s A-listers and ‘bride and groom of the year’. They are all married to the love of their lives now! How time flies, right? While Alia got married to Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022, Varun Dhawan tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal on January 24, 2021. Sidharth was the last to get hitched and the gorgeous pictures of Sid-Kiara are still making me go ‘haye, nazar na lage’!

Sidharth Ki Galla Hogayi Mashhoor
Sid and Kiara tried hard to keep their relationship under wraps. But their on-screen chemistry and subtle flirting during the Shershaah promotions gave us all the hints. Rumour has it that it was on the sets of Shershaah, the two fell in love. But it was actually at the Lust Stories wrap-up party that the sparks flew between the couple. Kiara confessed the same on Koffee With Karan 7. She said, “We started talking at the wrap-up party of Lust Stories, which we crashed. We casually met. I’ll never forget that night. We are close friends, more than close friends.”
The two always remained tight-lipped about their relationship. It was their South Africa vacation in 2019 that gave it all away. The couple was there to celebrate New year’s after they had signed Shershaah.
Sid and Kiara both shared pictures from their safari outing, but separately. Fans were quick to spot their similar captions and sun-kissed vacay pics. In 2020, there was a buzz that the couple had parted ways. But thankfully, the two sorted out their differences. After four years of dating, they are finally husband and wife now!
Alia Found Her ‘Shiva’ In Real Life
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s love story is like a Bollywood movie in itself. Why, you ask? Alia was a teenager when she started crushing on Ranbir, who was assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali at the time. Alia had gone to give an audition for SLB’s Black when she found herself crushing on the assistant director. No, I am not saying it. Alia herself confessed it on Koffee With Karan.
In 2018, the couple made their first appearance at the Sonam Kapoor- Anand Ahuja wedding. After this, they started opening up during media interviews but still called it a ‘special friendship’. In 2020, the Rockstar actor confessed in an interview with film critic, Rajeev Masand, that they would have tied the knot already had it not been for the pandemic.
On KWK 7, Alia revealed deets about how sparks flew between the two. She said that it was when they were flying to Israel for Brahamastra’s workshop. She saw Ranbir walking towards her seat and realised that they were going to be seated together. They really enjoyed each other’s company and the vibe started from there on. Haye, how filmy!
Alia and Ranbir are now parents to cute little Raha and I wish them all the love in the world!
Varun And His Bachpan Ka Pyaar
SOTY’s Rohan Nanda aka Varun Dhawan married his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal and their love story is a real-life rom-com. Varun and Natasha went to the same school and their love story started in the canteen!
In an interview with Kareena Kapoor Khan on What Women Want, the actor revealed, “I still remember, we went to Maneckji Cooper, she was in the yellow house and I was in the red house. It was on the basketball court. So, in the lunch break, in the canteen, they give you food and an energy drink. I remember her walking, I remember seeing her, and actually, when I saw her that day, I felt like I fell in love with her. That was it.” Aww, so cute!
Natasha and Varun were still friends till their early 20s and started dating after reconnecting at a music concert. They never left each other’s side after that and got married in 2021. If this isn’t love then I don’t know what is!
