Your Instagram feed might have just recovered from all the #NehuDaVyaah pictures (which were lovely, btw!) and now, it’s time for #ShwetakishaAdi! Singer Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on December 1. The wedding was attended by family and close friends due to COVID-19 restrictions, but their wedding reception seemed like a grand affair!
The couple has been together for more than a decade now and talking about his feelings as a newly married man, Aditya shared in an interview, “It feels surreal that Shweta and I are finally married now. It feels like a dream, which has come true. I can’t imagine spending my life with anyone else, but Shweta. She has helped me become a better version of myself, she is someone with whom I can be myself.”
The Indian Idol host even shared a really cute and hilarious video on his Instagram yesterday, giving his fans a glimpse of the jaimala ceremony.
Shortly after the wedding, the newlyweds hosted a beautiful reception in Mumbai and the guestlist included Govinda and his family, comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa, choreographer Punit Pathak, and former Bigg Boss 13 contestant Siddhartha Dey, amongst many others.
Aditya donned a dapper black tuxedo sans vest and paired it with nerdy glasses and bow tie. Shweta, on the other hand, looked like a true queen in a gorgeous off-shoulder red gown. She paired the ensemble with a diamond necklace and opted for a classy bun. Take a look at how adorable they looked!
The newlyweds shared a romantic dance and a lovestruck Aditya could be seen kissing his wife on the forehead. Awwww!!!
Aditya also performed on Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and just like his son, father Udit Narayan too shook a leg on Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and other Bollywood songs with his wife. Well, Udit Ji has given us some classic wedding songs over the years and it only makes sense that they are played at his son’s wedding!
