Haldi, Sangeet, & Dhol Beats: Inside Pictures From Aditya Narayan's Wedding Ceremonies

Remember the time when singer and Indian Idol host, Aditya Narayan, was rumoured to be tying the knot with alleged girlfriend and the show's judge Neha Kakkar? Well yes, the entire publicity stunt is ancient news now and our lovely 'Nehu Da Vyaah' singer is happily married to Rohanpreet Singh.

And just like Neha, her dear friend Aditya is also all set to tie the knot, with his girlfriend Shweta Agarwal and start a new chapter. Aditya and Shweta are getting married today in an intimate wedding that will take place in a temple, in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines and only 50 guests will attend the ceremony.

The mehendi and haldi ceremonies were celebrated on Sunday and Monday respectively and even though they were a family affair, they were grand nevertheless. Check out the videos and pictures shared by Aditya and his fan clubs that are doing the rounds on the internet.

Talking about the guestlist, Aditya’s father, Udit Narayan, said in an interview recently, “I’ve invited PM Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha ji, Dharmendra ji, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Madhuri Dixit, but with COVID-19 cases on the rise, I don’t know if they will be able to attend.” Check out how cute the soon-to-be dulhan looks with her in-laws.

Apart from the ceremony videos, the beautiful wedding card of the bride and groom was also shared by their fans and we think it’s truly stunning. Take a look for yourself:

Aditya and Shweta met on the sets of Shaapit in 2010 and have been together ever since. Talking about their low-key romance, the Indian Idol host had said earlier in an interview, “I met Shweta on the sets of Shaapit and we hit it off instantly. Slowly and gradually, I realised I was head-over-heels in love and started pursuing her. Initially, she wanted to be 'just friends', because we were both very young and needed to focus on our careers. Like every relationship, we have seen a lot of ups-and-downs over the last 10 years. Marriage is just a formality between us now, which hopefully should also happen by November or December. My parents know Shweta and like her a lot. I am happy that I have found my soulmate in her."

We are extremely happy that Aditya has found the love of his life and we have to say, that our handsome singer looks extra stunning in this royal dulha avatar! Our groom opted for an ivory sherwani with golden embroidery and paired the look with green ornaments. We are crushing a little extra on his super cool yellow shades!

From completing their first movie together to tying the knot a decade later, Aditya and Shweta have truly come a long way! Talking about his wedding, Aditya said in an interview recently, “Because of Covid-19, we can invite only close family and friends, since Maharashtra does not allow more than 50 guests at a wedding. It will be a very simple temple wedding and a small reception after that. Can’t call too many guests because of Covid. It will mostly be a family affair with a few friends from the film television and music fraternity whom I must invite.”

Aditya had announced his wedding a few months ago on his social media handle with the cutest caption ever!

We wish these two all the very best for the new chapter of their lives!
