Done with those romantic pre-wedding photoshoots at century old forts. Yeah, we get it. The recent pre-wedding photography concepts have been far from unique – outdated themes, common locations, and cliched poses. But here’s a couple who got their pre-wedding photoshoot at a very, very unique location. Wondering where? Well, as unreal as it may sound, Ankita and Karan had their shoot at Sabyasachi’s flagship store in Mumbai and it definitely turned out to be one of a kind.
Sabyasachi’s flagship store was launched in the year 2010 at Kalaghoda in Mumbai and it spans over 8,500 sq. feet. The gigantic visual spectacle of the store is not just a testament to Sabyasachi‘s love for art, design and all things aesthetic but also his ode to the city of Mumbai. The store houses vintage hand painted chandeliers, Iranian carpets, antique rugs, period calendar art, courtyard pillars from Gujarat along with colonial furniture. Along with apparels, Sabyasachi’s bespoke bridal jewellery is also available here.
Talking about the other breathtaking aspect of this pre-wedding shoot, Ankita and Karan’s complimenting couture outfits echo of sheer royalty. While Karan opted for a peach Bandgala Sherwani with floral motifs, Ankita donned a golden lehenga with an embroidered jacket. The bronze and ruby embroidery over the dull gold jacket looks absolutely exquisite. She completed her look with statement jhumkis and a sleek hairdo.
Coming back to the pre-wedding shoot, photographer Kartik Bhagat of Dream Diaries brilliantly captured the beauty that Sabyasachi’s Mumbai store is, while also freezing the couple’s adorable moments of love. About shooting at Sabya’s store, Karti Bhagat revealed:
“Surrounded by works of charm and beauty, it was an amazing experience to photograph this gorgeous couple’s pre-wedding! 40 minutes of shoot time at this pre-wedding was just about enough to catch the beauty of their sparkle and the @sabyasachiofficial store in Mumbai!”
Ankita and Karan chose their favourite designer’s store for their pre-wedding shoot. Which designer’s store would you opt for?!
