Code Words You & Your Partner Can Use When You Really Want To Have Sex (But Can’t Say It)

Sometimes, you really just want to yell the word sex but can’t. Maybe you have children, or maybe you’re around family. And while it would be great if we could yell, “Hey! Let’s have sex!” at our SO all times, but let’s be real, sometimes we need to keep it on the down-low. But just because you can’t say the word sex, it doesn’t mean that you can’t have it. So, here’s 10 (completely non-sexy) words that you can say instead of using the S-word next time you want to get busy with your partner. These words will be just a secret code between the two of you–and that’s probably going to make things even more exciting.

It’s time for an ‘afternoon delight’

While smoosh sounds like a super cute word, it literally means ‘to push’ together. So next time you want to ask your partner to have sex in public, you can just say, I want to smoosh that pup. No one will know!

Let’s take a nap!

This is one of the most commonly used slang for sex. I know a lot of couples who say, “Oh! We’re tired, we should go take a nap. Except that they’d be doing everything but that. *wink*

The song Milkshake by Kellis came out in 2003 and has been used to talk about sex ever since. You can just tell your partner “let’s go grab some milkshake” and they’d know what you mean.

Can we Netflix and chill?

While this is the most commonly used replacement for the word sex, it can sometimes come in really handy when you cannot think of other words. Be sure to not use it in front of a millennial though, they’d definitely know what you’re up to.

Let’s meet that kitty?

Definitely not an invitation to meet a feline here! Kitty is a secret slang used by most people to describe a woman’s vagina. You can use this phrase to tell your partner that you want them to come with you to a room to meet your ‘kitty’.

How many of these have you used already?
