Indian moms are famous for being caring and loving, but they are also extremely protective. The ultimate mamma birds make sure we are okay all the time. My mom has a few standard dialogues that she loves using around the house, especially directed at me. So, I handpicked a few things that most Indian kids are tired of hearing from their moms, but can’t help but love them more for it!

I’m so afraid to tell her that it’s a knock-knock joke and I’m easily amused.

And I use someone else’s Netflix account, I know what I am.
9. “Itne paise kharch karoge toh shaadi ke liye kya bachega?”
And I want to wear a pastel pink Manish Malhotra lehenga to my wedding, so I get her concern.
10. “Desi ghee makes you strong, it should be a part of your diet.”
Scientifically proven, so I can’t deny this.
11. “If you don’t eat greens, how will you bear children?”
Advanced science is forever in my favour. Also, kids poop everywhere.
12. “Why can’t you ever find anything in your closet? It’s always right there.”
Because you have magic laser eyes and I’m just a normal human being.
