Priyanka Chopra Uses Her Hair Oil On A Different Part Of Her Body

I’m a sucker for multi-purpose products, but not just the ones that say they’re ‘multi-purpose’. I like turning my oils and creams into double-duty and triple-duty products, and it seems like Priyanka Chopra Jonas agrees with me. Because she recently spoke about using a scalp-and-hair oil as a moisturiser for the hands, and I needed to know why.

I did a little digging and it started to make sense. The product that she uses can truly moisturise the skin, and how. You need to check it out.

The Hair Oil P.C Uses On Her Hands

The Anomaly Scalp & Hair Oil isn’t simply for Priyanka’s mane. Chopra runs a few drops of the frizz-fighting potion through her hair before rubbing the rest onto her palms to moisturise them. I see why. The product is infused with rosehip and almond oils; both of which excel at relieving dryness and moisturising the skin.

Why The Hands Need Some Lovin’ Too

Your hands need T.L.C. too; just like your face. Think about it. You expose them to water, soaps, and alcohol-based sanitizers all the time. You do all your chores with them; whether it’s typing on a laptop, washing the vessels, or picking weights at the gym. No wonder they wrinkle and crease soon. They might even feel dry and flaky at times.

Remember that your hands reveal more about your age than you’d like, and that’s why simply focusing skincare on the face will not matter in the long term. But back to PeeCee’s choice of hair (hand) oil. Here’s probably why she loves it so much.

Almond Oil: Often known as a hydrator, Almond Oil contains vitamins D and E as well as minerals that enable it to deeply moisturise the skin, soothe irritation, and protect you from U.V-induced damage like spots and pigmentation. This makes your skin look even and smooth.

For anyone with psoriasis, eczema, ‘hand’ dermatitis, or just conditions that make your skin feel itchy and irritated, Almond Oil can help relieve these symptoms because of how hydrating it is. It can even soothe inflammation and redness associated with these conditions. It might diminish the appearance of scars on the skin too. The Sweet Almond Pure Coldpressed Oil from St. Botanica is perfect if you want something separate for the skin.

Rosehip Oil: Rich in fatty acids like linoleic and linolenic acid, Rosehip Oil can moisturise the skin as lavishly as Almond Oil. This means that it can treat dry, itchy skin very well.

It’s a natural exfoliator too; so if your hands are sensitive to scrubs, a few drops of Rosehip oil can exfoliate them safely and make them look youthful and supple. And it’s an anti-inflammatory too.

Another interesting fact about this oil is that it’s anti-ageing. Since it contains Vitamin A (which Retinol contains too), it can stimulate collagen production and retain the elasticity and firmness of the skin on your hands. You can use the Avi Naturals Rosehip Oil too.

See? P.C’s pretty well versed in skincare, and I’m obsessed with this hack of hers.
