Weddings in the times of coronavirus have definitely not been easy. But, as they say, true love always finds a way and that’s exactly what couples are proving ever since the pandemic hit us. From doing their own makeup to organising virtual wedding parties, the big fat Indian wedding has taken a back seat. We recently came across the pictures of Trishala Shinde and Pratik Bhatia from Mumbai, who had a gorgeous engagement ceremony with a limited number of guests.

Trishala and Pratik got engaged on July 26 and are all set to tie the knot on 8th August. Their intimate sundowner ceremony in Thane was a beautiful affair and what totally stood out for us was the bride-to-be’s fresh and chic makeup.
Trishala wanted a flushed, dewy and youthful look for the ceremony and her makeup artist Varsha Gidwani used tones of gold and peaches to get the desired look.
Prep The Skin
She started off by prepping Trishala’s skin with Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. Its intense moisturising formula brings an instant glow to your face. After moisturising, Varsha used Farsáli Skintune Blur serum which is an amazing pore minimiser.
For That Perfect Base
To get that beautiful dewy look, Trishala’s MUA used Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter foundation. A brush of CHANEL loose powder gave her face a soft matte finish. Trishala’s flushed cheeks and a hint of highlighter further accentuated her bridal glow and made her look ethereal.

Pretty Pink Lips
The bride-to-be opted for a blush pink lipstick along with lip gloss that not only made her lips look plump and oh-so shiny but also complemented her pastel outfit beautifully.
Varsha used a setting spray to finish the look that’s perfect for day and night. Fresh, radiant makeup is the way to go!
Considering the pandemic situation, Varsha said, “Trishala fumigated her entire house before we (makeup artists) came in and left. Also, sanitisation of all products and cleaning brushes before all my clients is something I have always followed. Our temperatures were checked and our bags were sprayed with disinfectants. And of course, we always wear masks while working”.
For her hair, Trishala trusted Ritika Kadam and went for messy boho hair, and decorated the tiny knot with a cute floral accessory by The Hand Krities. She looked absolutely lovely while rocking that not-so-conventional hairdo for her engagement.
Coming to her outfit, Trishala wore a cape lehenga by Sabyasachi in a pretty pastel shade and accessorised it with a statement kada and ring. Matching earrings added to her bridal look.
