Tiger Zinda Hai actor Nawab Shah and actress Pooja Batra tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Delhi on July 4th. The couple had only been dating for five months before getting hitched. But don’t they say, when it’s right, it’s right?!
The newlyweds, recently, shared their wedding ceremony pictures on social media. And it wouldn’t be wrong to say that their pictures look absolutely dreamy. Check them out!
Pooja shared a picture from their Arya Samaj wedding and wrote, “We Did ♥️” In the picture, the couple is seen sporting varmalas. Pooja is seen clad in a blue and green saree with a peach blouse. Nawab wore a peach kurta with white pyjamas.
Nawab and Pooja also shared pictures of their nikaah ceremony in Delhi where they were seen twinning in ice-blue outfits. They both wrote, “Life Union ❤️ !! Thank you for all the love and good wishes!! Love and light 🙏😊”
Nawab shared a boomerang with the caption, “Love and light ❤️🦋” In the boomerang, the couple is seen in coordinated black outfits pretending to sip wine.

Talking about the secret wedding to a leading daily, Pooja said, “Nawab and I exchanged vows in Delhi, with only our families in attendance. Our loved ones kept asking us why we were delaying it (the marriage). I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. We had an Arya Samaj wedding, and we will register our marriage this week.”
“I knew of Nawab by virtue of being in the same profession. However, we strongly connected after we were reintroduced by a common friend in February this year. I guess we reconnected at the right time in our life. We were in the same space emotionally and hit it off instantly,” she added.
The Virasat actress also revealed that Nawab was ready to propose her soon after they met, “During the initial days of our relationship, there was this one time when he came to pick me up at the airport, and according to him, he wanted to pop the question right then. However, he got nervous and dropped the idea. He was ready to propose to me soon after we met. Eventually, he proposed to me in Delhi, and again when he came to meet my parents with his family.”
