Rumours about Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s wedding have been abuzz since last year. Recently, a source close to the couple revealed that the couple will make it official through a church wedding on April 19.
This couple, however, has neither admitted to dating each other publicly nor have confirmed the wedding date. They’ve been the talk of the town ever since they started making public appearances. The two secretly went to Italy in October last year to ring in Malaika’s birthday. The photos of them holding hands at the Milan airport had surfaced online and confirmed the rumours. The news about them buying a house together also did rounds last year and they were seen partying together with each other’s friends.
Now Arjun’s dad Boney Kapoor has opened up about the wedding rumours. He has denied the rumours of their wedding to a leading daily. The daily quoted him saying, “There’s no truth to these rumours.”
But there is still no word from the happy couple. Remember Deepika and Ranveer also denied their wedding rumours for the longest time? And Virushka pulled off a wedding in Italy entirely in secret. So is something like this planned for Malaika and Arjun?
Currently, Malaika is holidaying in the Maldives with her gal pals Vahbiz Mehta, Delnaz Daruwala and Pressy Panda. The speculations are that she’s gone there with her gang for her bachelorette before the wedding. Check out pictures from her vacation.

Reportedly, Malaika and Arjun have been dating for almost a year now. On a talk show, she talked about moving on. She said, “I guess everyone wants to move on and find love and companionship with people they can relate to. And if you do, I think you are just lucky. If you can do that, I think you are lucky to find that second chance at being happy.”
Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan for 18 years, but the couple got divorced in 2016. The two have a 16-year-old son, Arhaan. Talking about parting ways with Arbaaz, she had said, “We did think about a lot of things and weighed every single pro and con. And then we decided, it’s better off that we move our separate ways because we’d just be better people. Because we were two people in a situation making each other extremely unhappy which was impacting everybody else’s life around us.”
