Recently, a Twitter user shared how even in the year 2023, she was rejected for the most bizarre reason ever. Can you guess what it was?
Well, a Twitter user, by the name of amnaaww, shared how she has been getting rejected by her potential grooms’ mother because she does not look young enough. How crazy is that? She wrote, “Imagine being rejected by mothers of 28 and 31yo men because you’re 25 not 22yo Imagine people saying no to you because you don’t look like an 18yo at the age of 25. “Age zyada lag rahi hai larhki ki(The girl looks older than she is)” Im so done. With everyone and everything.”
She further added that she’s not interested in getting married but is tolerating it all for her parents. She even stated how these rejections are affecting her mental health. She wrote, “Imagine you have to tolerate this bullshit JUST for your parents. I dont even want to get married. Things you have to do for their happiness. Me letting my mental health deteriorate more by putting up with all this is my mothers and fathers day gift for the next 50years.”

Soon after, many girls like her took to the Twitter thread and shared how they were also rejected for some of the most random reasons. One wrote, “I had a flash back to my times. Shit included “She’s a nice girl but we are rejecting her because she probably earns more than my son”.
