We are always slightly partial to the beauty rule-breakers, the makeup path-finders and the ones who step away from stereotypes. The beauty industry isn’t the only one, a lot of our favourite Bollywood divas are breaking rules constantly.
Parineeti Chopra is the newest one on this list of rule-breakers. We always hear people saying that brighter hair colours need to be paired with a bare face and you shouldn’t use bright makeup as the colours might clash. Taking a leaf out of Cheryl Blossom’s life, Parineeti is breaking this rule and SLAYING while she’s at it.
She recently coloured her hair a flaming red for her role in the upcoming Jabriya Jodi with Siddharth Kapoor. While shooting for the movie she has also been promoting Namaste England, which is slated for release this week. While her hair transformation is major already, she hasn’t been shying away from using some super bright colours on her lips. She is making flaming red and fuschia statements along the way. Here’s a closer look.
1. Bright coral
Flaming red hair, coral lips and a white shirt – that’s the ideal day-out combination if you ask us. We love that she has opted for a velvety matte finish for the lip colour and it has more reddish tones to bring her whole look together.

2. Fuschia bloom
Parineeti is living the thug life. She just shattered all stereotypes with a smile. Red hair, bright azure outfit AND a fuschia lip! HOLY TRIFECTA! Jokes aside, this blue toned pink with mauve and magenta undertones is going really well with her ensemble and her hair.

3. Flamboyant red
This is the ideal red that would suit all skin tones. It immediately brightens the face. For Indian skin tones, a warm-toned orange based red lip colours are always better.
