I binge-watched the show in one night and my heart wants more. The lavish lifestyles, the teenage romance of Hampton International, and high school nostalgia had me hooked.

TVF’s Aspirants is a Hindi show that portrays the journey of three UPSC aspirants in Delhi’s Rajinder Nagar. It juggles between their past and present lives and shows how the rat race affects their friendship. The best part? The show gives us a human take on failures!

Starring actors like Jitendra Kumar, Revathi Pillai, and Ahsaas Channa, this should be on your must-watch list! I watched it back when I was in high school and the show has stayed with me all these years.

Never Have I Ever

This coming-of-age teen comedy is a perfect watch for a girls’ night. It showcases the complicated life of Devi Vishvakumar (played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), an Indian-American school sophomore who struggles to find her identity after her father’s untimely death. Under peer pressure to fit in, Devi makes some terrible decisions that affect her school life, romantic relationships, and friendships. I love that Devi is imperfect yet awesome!

Euphoria is an American teen drama starring International stars like Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney. 13 Reasons Why

Based on the novel of the same name, 13 Reasons Why is an American crime show based on Hannah Baker (played by Katherine Langford), a 17-year-old high school girl who commits suicide. Her classmates start receiving cassette tapes recorded by Hannah, blaming them for her death. Each tape comes with an instruction. If they fail to follow, another set of tapes including their dark secrets would be released!

Sex Education

This one’s a British comedy-drama that portrays teen life struggles. Otis (played by Asa Butterfield) is a socially awkward high school boy who deals with sex problems despite being a sex therapist’s son. Things take an interesting turn when he decides to set up an underground sex advice center with his classmate Maeve (Emma Mackey).

Together, they help fellow school teens overcome their sex problems. But things get awkward when Otis finds himself attracted to Maeve. Over the seasons, I have fallen in love with Otis and can’t wait to see how things turn out for him in the next season!
