5. Pangot, Uttarakhand

Are you into adventure and forest walks? If yes, then this little village, Pangot, 15 km ahead of Nainital, is the place for you. With no WiFi, mobile network or TV, you stay right in the middle of the forest, undisturbed. Known for its bird watching and wildlife, Pangot is a hidden and untouched gem that one should definitely explore.

6. Wayanad, Kerala
