NGL, I love watching Bigg Boss for its adorable love stories. From Prince-Yuvika to Himanshi-Azim—BB has been giving us solid jodis to root for, and we enjoy every bit of being a part of the connections.
That’s one of the reasons I did not enjoy watching BB OTT. Following the on-and-off relationship of Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat was way too frustrating for me. I was convinced that the couple wouldn’t last a day outside the show. But, it looks like I was wrong.
Shamita and Raqesh have managed to take us all by surprise with their strong bond. The two are often spotted together on dates and speak highly of each other. And now, the Heroine actor has done the sweetest thing for his ladylove and our hearts are melting!
Raqesh took to the ‘gram yesterday to wish Shamita the best of luck for her journey on Bigg Boss 15. He shared an adorable reel of the two dancing to Ranjha from the movie Shershaah. The actor also shared a heartfelt caption, “It feels odd to be seeing you on screen and not have you next to me but I know you are going to do fab, you will shine, you will make us all proud! And I will be right there metaphorically next to you supporting you in this journey! You are inspiring, you are strong, you are unique and you are real and that shall shine out! @shamitashetty_official.” How special is this!
Before leaving for the show, Shamita opened up about her feelings for Raqesh and her thoughts on their relationship, “I rarely talk about who I am dating. So, for me to actually be so open on a platform, which the world is watching, is not something I anticipated or planned before. Things just sort of happened organically with us and we went with the flow. The connection that was meant to be restricted for the game, continued and carried forward in our personal lives too. I am happy it happened. He is a lovely man.”
She further added, “Let’s see what happens there. It definitely became a habit to have him around for 6 weeks.”
Here’s wishing Shamita all the very best for her journey in the new season of BB. We hope her beau visits her soon and we get to witness a beautiful reunion on the show. We gotta say that we’re beginning to ship the two big time.
