Remember the ‘Take Me With You’ couple who broke the internet a couple of years ago? Well, it’s 2020, life and the ways of life as we knew them have been majorly challenged and we have a new traveller couple that fits the bill pretty well.
“We are nude nomads, clothes-free vagabonds, bare tramps,” says Nick & Lins, the European blogger couple who is traveling the world in their birthday suit. Now that’s pretty offbeat, right? Well, so is this couple.
From planning nude tennis to indulging in what they call ‘nuditation,’ the couple has been striking off things from their bucket list pretty much how regular travellers do, all of this butt naked though. For almost two years now, the couple has been hitting nude resorts and nude beaches across the world as they practice something called Naturism. “If we had to describe our lives and what we do, we would call ourselves full-time nudist travellers. Or maybe something more poetic like naked wanderers, nude nomads, clothes-free vagabonds, or bare tramps. If you’d be planning to start a blog about nudist travelling too, those are already some great ideas for your blog’s name,” they explain.
The couple further adds, “If we had to describe our lives and what we do, we would call ourselves full-time nudist travellers. Or maybe something more poetic like naked wanderers, nude nomads, clothes-free vagabonds, or bare tramps. If you’d be planning to start a blog about nudist travelling too, those are already some great ideas for your blog’s name.”
Nick & Lins started blogging about their journey and also documenting it on Instagram after they realised the kind of misconceptions that people hold against Naturism. The couple is thus on a mission to explain how Naturists tend to be easy-going people who love spending their days without clothes, relaxed, and enjoying life in the nude.
“You don’t actually realize the comfort of being nude until, after several days, you have to put clothes on. Every time we wish that this walk to the shop could be done clothes-free as well,” they say. The couple believes that Naturism is extremely freeing and everyone and anyone can become a Naturist provided you understand some of the basic ideas associated with it. For instance, “non-sexual nudity” is one of the basic foundations of Naturism.
Additionally, they also want people to realise that Naturism is all about embracing your body just the way it is sans any shame or inhibitions. They have been writing blogs on how it’s not the supermodels with perfect bodies who practice Naturism but the most normal everyday people.
They explain it with the help of an analogy, “Since everyone can be a naturist, you will find every kind of person at a naturist place. The best way to imagine this is by going to the supermarket and have a look at all the other people. That’s exactly what a naturist resort looks like. Except that none of them will be wearing clothes and that they’ll be hanging around the pool instead of picking groceries from the shelves. Young, old, thin, thick, some might be your type, others definitely not. In naturism, what you look like doesn’t matter at all. It’s about who you are.”
