It’s been nearly three months since Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise and we’re yet to find out the truth. Just recently, the SSR death case took another turn when Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for the alleged procurement of drugs. A day after Mumbai sessions court dismissed the bail applications of Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty, a new revelation has got the internet talking.

According to latest reports, during the interrogation, Rhea has revealed that actress Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh consumed narcotic substances too. She also named Sushant’s friend and former manager Rohini Iyer, designer Simone Khambatta and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra for doing the same.

According to the report, Rhea also named several other B-town celebrities and the NCB now has a list of 25 such Bollywood A-listers. On September 11, a Mumbai sessions court rejected the bail applications of Rhea, her brother Showik and four others accused in the case — all of who are currently in judicial custody.
Apart from procuring drugs for Sushant, the NCB has also charged Rhea with the ‘sale, trade, purchase and use of the banned substances’. She has been booked under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii), 22, 27 A, 28, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Sources have also told a leading media portal that Rhea initially refused the claims of consuming drugs but later confessed to the same.
Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebs recently came in support of the actress and said that she deserves a fair trial. What started as an investigation into Sushant’s death has now turned into a drug scandal and maybe more. We trust our judicial system and hope that justice will prevail soon.
