I have been closely following Neha’s pregnancy journey since the day she announced this happy news, and I just love how she is so candid and shares both the ups and the downs of this journey.
Recently the mum-to-be was interviewed by a leading daily, where she opened up about her pregnancy, the challenges she experienced, her husband’s reaction to the news, and the support she has received from her family and fans. The actor also responded to people, especially her extended family calling her too ambitious to be a mum, and pressuring her to embrace motherhood. And I just found her reply to be pretty empowering and savage, and I thought that this would be apt to share with you, as many couples will relate to it.
Responding To People Who Said She Was Too Ambitious To Embrace Motherhood
When I was reading Neha’s interview, I was surprised to know that some members of Neha’s extended family taunted and pressured her to start a family. They called her too devoted to her work and constantly played the guessing game about why she hadn’t embraced motherhood yet.
While I feel that this interference in the couple’s life was absolutely unnecessary, I was happy to know that Neha had the most appropriate response in store. She said that whenever people questioned when she will embrace motherhood she would just smile at them and say, “It will happen when it happens.”
How cool is that? Well, I am loving her simple yet impactful message. It is quite subtle and it sure helps shut down the people trying to give their two cents on what you should be doing with your life.
Sharing Her Husband’s Reaction To Their Pregnancy News
In the interview, the mum-to-be revealed that her husband’s reaction was the most irritating one could ever have. She revealed that even after showing him her positive pregnancy stick, her husband was not ready to believe her. Instead, he asked Neha to get her results checked by a lab, and then another one to confirm the results.
The mum-to-be revealed that while she was eagerly waiting for a filmy reaction, all she got was questions from her husband. Well, I relate to Neha’s reaction but given her husband’s logical personality, it totally makes sense why he said that.
Talking About Her Family’s Support During This Time
Neha has always been open about the ups and downs of pregnancy and shares how her family has supported her during this time. In the interview, she revealed that she has been experiencing blood clots, and has to take injections every day to help subside this condition. Thankfully, her family has been extremely supportive, and they are pampering her, and showering her with endless love and care.
Making Informative Pregnancy Vlogs And Videos
Neha revealed that her happiness lies in being productive and active. So she decided to take up vlogging and create informational videos about pregnancy to share with other expecting mamas. She also stated that this not only serves as a creative experience but also allows her to connect with other mums and learn from their experiences.
Personally, I love how she has been using her creative skills to document this special journey and also share relatable content for other mums to make their days a tad bit lighter.
Kudos to Neha for being so candid about her pregnancy journey and giving a befitting reply to people who questioned her decision of the right time to become a mum. I am really enjoying how Neha has been talking about the challenges of pregnancy in a creative manner and hope that this really generates positive conversations about the journey of pregnancy which every woman can relate to.
