February Babies Are Taller And Possibly Even Smarter

Okay, this fact took me aback at first, but I managed to dig deep and find a study that proves this statement right. According to a study conducted by the Independent on 21,000 children (over the age of seven years), winter babies were significantly longer at birth, and they were also taller, heavier, and had a larger head circumference by the age of seven. They also scored high in a series of intelligence exercises.

Like Most Winter-Borns, They Are Pretty Calm

Feb babies are generally less irritable, and they are less prone to mood swings than summer kiddos. In other words, they take living the hygge (bringing a sense of comfort and contentment) life too seriously. Honestly, I can vouch for this, as I know a lot of Feb borns, and they are much calmer in all kinds of situations. Their go-to mantra is “be calm and live life in peace and harmony” and I really wish I could have this trait in me too.

They Are Likely To Be Artists Or…Traffic Cops

I feel like these two professions couldn’t be more different, but apparently, for people born in February, they are two of the likeliest career paths. Also, regardless of the career path they choose, Feb babies are likely to be more creative and imaginative. They may also have top-notch problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Feb Babies Are More Likely To Be Famous

An article published by the Time reported that January and February months correlate the most with creativity and problem-solving, and hence kids born during this month are more likely to be famous. ICYDK, February is also the birth month of many well-known figures, such as Jennifer Aniston, Rihanna, Jackie Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, and Shahid Kapoor.

They Are Either A Pisces Or An Aquarius

People born between Feb 1-18 are under the star sign Aquarius, and those born later in the month are under Pisces. While Aquarians are often considered to be progressive thinkers and originals with strong humanitarian instincts, Pisces are often very artistic and compassionate.

Their Birth Flowers Are The Primrose Or The Violet

While I thought that red roses would be the go-to flowers for Feb babies, turns out their birth flowers are quite different. They have two lovely blossoms, the primrose, which signifies undying love and youth, and the violet which denotes faithfulness and loyalty.

Their Birthstone Is The Amethyst

Amethyst is a rich purple gem, and the ancient Greeks believed that it kept the wearer quick-witted and clear-headed. Centuries later, Leonardo Da Vinci claimed that amethyst helps get rid of evil thoughts and quickens intelligence. The precious stone is also associated with other traits like courage, strength, stability, and peace.

If your little one or someone in your family was born on February 29, then you have to wait till 2024 for their next official calendar birthday. The good thing is that most people just choose to celebrate their birthdays on Feb 28 or March 1 in non-leap years.

February + May Relationships Can Be Explosive

Well, that’s an interesting piece of information that I was totally unaware of! According to researchers at Loverly, when men born in February, marry women born in May, their relationships are often explosive and they are more likely to end their relationship easily too.

Feb Babies Share Their Birthdays With Some Major Moments Of The Year

Many celebrations such as Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, and President’s Day are observed in February. Plus, according to a chart demonstrating which birth dates are the most common and rare, Feb birth dates are top for being pretty rare, which means if you were born in this month, you should feel extra special.

Aren’t these facts about February babies truly fascinating? Well, I really found them interesting, and some of them even caught me off-guard. One thing’s for sure, if your munchkin is born in February, they are going to be pretty unique, and they are going to light up your world with their creative and imaginative thinking.
