Manisha Rani’s Bigg Boss OTT season 2 stay was memorable for many reasons—some good, and a few questionable. Her interaction with housemate Pooja Bhatt’s father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt falls into the latter category. From the moment Mahesh entered the show, fans noticed how the director was being touchy with Manisha. This didn’t sit well with the Internet and many questioned Mahesh Bhatt for being inappropriate.
After the show’s finale, Manisha finally opened up on her side of the story. In an interview with a leading entertainment portal, she claimed that nothing was inappropriate about her conversation with Mahesh. The Instagram influencer said, “I wasn’t uncomfortable at all. If people think that he touched me inappropriately, then that’s very wrong. He’s like my uncle, my father. Elders often express their love for young people in a certain way, sometimes by touching them. When he told us to shut up, I got a little scared because I’m someone, who can’t keep quiet. Mahesh Bhatt is a very big director. It was my dream to meet him. His intentions were very pure.” Scroll down to check out the video that raised eyebrows:
When it comes to interactions in the Bigg Boss house, it is best to take everything with a pinch of salt. As long as Manisha was okay with her conversation with Mahesh, it is not our place to judge.
Pooja Bhatt Supports Mahesh Bhatt
Apart from Manisha, Mahesh’s daughter and Bigg Boss OTT star Pooja also came in support of her dad. ICYMI, the director arrived in the house to see her. In a conversation with a digital platform, she shared, “When Manisha hugs other contestants and asks for kisses then nobody has a problem. I think people forget duniya hum waise he dekhte hain jaise hum hote hain… duniya hum waise nahi dekhte jaise duniya hai (we only see the world in our perspective, the world might not be the same in reality).
When it comes to the line between appropriate and inappropriate, it is not anyone’s call to make apart from the people in the situation. If Mahesh and Manisha were okay with their dynamic then it is best to trust their judgement.
