Anshula Kapoor hails from a khandaan of fashionistas. From brother Arjun Kapoor to sisters Janhvi, Khushi, Shanaya, and the OG–Sonam, the philanthropist is surrounded by style-savvy sistas and family members. But lately, her fashion statements have been absolutely jhakkas and have earned her the top spot in the fashion game. Her recent fashion outing has only consolidated her status quo as the ultimate body-positive style icon and we just can’t get over her lewk:
Styled by Mohit Rai, Anshula donned a coral pink blazer and shorts by label Monokrom. She paired the co-ord with a lavender bralette and clear vinyl heels and finished her look with a messy high ponytail, statement gold hoops, and minimal makeup ft coral-hued lips.
Don’t let her confident pose and stellar attitude fool you into thinking that it was easy for her to rock this look. It took major amount of convincing and courage for Anshula to flaunt a part of her body she was never comfortable with–her legs. In fact, she had initially requested for longer shorts. However, the length was altered after the designer’s suggestion and Anshula was sporting enough to follow it.
While Anshula’s outfit was a pastel power-dressing hit, it was her heartfelt caption that stole the show for me. She opened up about her body-image issues and shared that it took courage for her to step out of her comfort zone and wear a pair of thigh-high shorts. Take a look:
