The internet is buzzing with mesmerising pictures of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding in Udaipur. Their fairytale-like celebration, surrounded by loved ones, has left us all in awe. But what truly added an extra dose of magic to their special day was the subtlety of it all. Both Raghav and Pari looked stunning in matching ivory outfits designed by our fave, Manish Malhotra.
Soon after their pictures went viral, there was one detailing on Pari’s bridal ensemble that stood out for me and millions of her fans. To add a unique and special touch to her outfit, she got Raghav’s name embroidered on her veil. But hold on! This was not the only personalised touch. Turns out, to honour her Nani, the actress added her challa (traditional keychain) to her lehenga. Manish Malhotra took to his Instagram to share the whole story and it’s so wholesome. A part of it read, “For Parineeti, the sound of the challa when her nani walked around the house, was a melody of strength and grace. And that’s when I knew we HAD to add that piece of legacy to her lehenga. Of course, we added more elements that were significant to both Raghav and Parineeti like London, music, Khanda Sahib and more.”
