Ananya Panday Opens Up About Dealing With Failures In Bollywood & It’s Inspiring AF!

Ananya Panday is just a few films old in Bollywood, but it surely doesn’t feel that way. The actress has been grabbing our attention ever since she made her debut with Student Of The Year 2 in all possible ways. Her recent movie’s song, Beyonce Sharma Jayegi, did not sit right with her fans and received a lot of flak online. On the other hand, her recently launched campaign, called Digital Social Responsibility that raises awareness against online bullying, was appreciated by all. In a span of three years, Ananya has seen several highs and lows, and she considers them all a part of her life.

While talking to a leading daily recently, the actress opened up about her take on success and failure in Bollywood. She said, “Success, as well as failure, is a part of the journey. There will be successes and there will be failures. I strongly believe that if there is a down, there will be an up, and if there is an up, there will be a down.”

Ananya’s last movie, Khaali Peeli, released on an OTT platform and failed to impress her fans. Opening up about it, she said, “One has to be neutral when both of the things happen. When I entered showbiz, there was nothing about the industry or the experiences that I was prepared for. Everything was new to me, and every experience has been a new one for me.”

The Pati Patni Aur Woh actress is familiar with online trolling and has faced several brutal comments over the years. From getting mocked for her remarks in interviews to getting body-shamed and trolled for her fashion choices, Ananya has faced it all. She revealed that she’s less conscious about the negativity that the haters sprew online and focuses just on the love she receives from her fans. “It is kind of funny because I am less conscious now,” she said.

Ananya also advised people to do whatever made them happy and shared that it’s her mantra in life as well. She added, “There are a lot of younger people out there looking, who look up to me and try to dress like me. That is why I started putting out this messaging to come as the way you are, dress the way you want to, wear what makes you comfortable and makes you happy. So, that is the kind of mantra that I try to live by hoping that the young girls and boys out there do that as well.”

Now, that’s one piece of advice that we wish everyone (including us) follows. On the work front, Ananya recently wrapped up the shooting of Shakun Batra’s untitled film. She will be seen in the movie with Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. We have to say, we’re pretty excited to see Sid and Ananya share screen space together as their chemistry would be sizzling AF! Can we get a release date already?
