6 Couples Tell Us What They’re Doing During Quarantine & It’s A Peak Into True Love!

Today, it all seems like too much and it’s okay if your anxiety feels like it’s getting the better of you. The world is a scary place but the good thing is that it’s giving us time to slow down and focus on the important things in life. If you’re quarantined alone, this article may give you a taste in love and if you’re at home with your partner you may relate to the cutesy things these guys have shared.

We Got 6 Real Couples To Tell Us What They’re Doing During Quarantine:

From cooking together to keeping the house clean, these guys are teaching us all to find happiness in little things.

Cooking a feast together

Well, these are trying times for all of us, but as far as I and my husband are concerned, we’re both social people and being stuck at home for such a long period is something that gets on to us sometimes. However, we make sure to be busy throughout the day so that we can do something productive during the lockdown. While we both are pretty busy in our office work during the weekdays, our weekends are all about Netflix and food. We both love to cook together and these days, we’re trying random recipes to treat our taste buds. Apart from this, we’re working on converting our storage room into a guest room, which was long due.

Love is in the small things

It’s a strange, confusing and scary time, for a world enduring the coronavirus outbreak, and terrifying news updates about the virus can make it worse. So it has now become more important than ever that I fill my life with a good dose of positivity. And for that, I prefer to spend time with my partner, doing small, everyday things. For instance, we cook our dinner together every day. We rewatch romantic movies that both of us have loved forever. And just to stay sane in the middle of our crazy WFH schedules, we take small dance, singing-one-song-out-loud breaks in between.

Moments of happiness

While the current situation all over the world is terrible, I try to see the silver lining in whatever life throws at me. The quarantine has finally given me all the time with my husband, time that I never got and always craved for! We’re working out together, playing endless rounds of Scrabble and watching shows and movies of each other’s choice. We’re also trying our hand at innovative cocktails and recipes that we would’ve never bothered to try otherwise.

There’s a silver lining in everything

Honestly, I am loving this time off. We’re all so busy all the time and it gets really difficult to spend quality time with our partners. However, this forced time-in has given both of us the chance to spend some time together and we love it. I work all day while he watches a few shows and then we spend time together making dinner. It is good and I am scared I might get used to it.

Two is enough

I’m not someone who loves being home all the time, but we’re trying out best to make the most of it. We’ve divided all the house chores, he cooks while I clean and as a reward at the end of the day, we pamper ourselves with something nice. We spend time playing board games, watching Netflix and reorganizing the house. It’s quite a refreshing change to see him help around the house instead of being a couch potato like he is used to being.

It’s a comfort zone

My husband and I are complete homebodies. We are not complaining about social distancing at all. I love that both of us get to work from home. He cooks, I clean! He shops for groceries, I spend hours sanitising them. He recently picked up yoga and now we practice together in the evenings. I couldn’t have asked for a more understanding trainer who lets me take as many breaks as I want. Strangely enough, our usual Netflix time together has now been replaced by ‘we need to catch up on the news’ over the evening tea. I will not deny that there is an underlying tension about what’s happening in the world right now, but as long as we are together in this, I am staying positive.
