The story revolves around a 100-year-old haveli, Fatima Mahal and the feud between its owner’s husband (Amitabh Bachchan) and the stubborn tenant (Ayushmann Khurrana).

Summary: Soon after its release, a nationwide lockdown was imposed and therefore, the movie had to be premiered on Disney+Hotstar. Coming back to the plot of the movie, this one, directed by Homi Adajania is a sequel to the 2017 film Hindi Medium. The plot focuses on how far a father will go to fulfil the wish of his daughter to study abroad.

Baaghi 3

Summary: The new Hindi movie primarily focuses on the bond between two brothers, Ronnie and Vikram, played by Tiger and Riteish respectively. In a turn of events, Vikram gets kidnapped by some goons and Ronnie takes it upon himself to save his brother. The story revolves around how he independently takes on a country, goes on a rampage of destruction to see his brother safe again.

Summary: This multi-starrer movie would remind you of Badhaai Ho for a second since the star cast is quite similar. However, the plot is totally different this time around. It is the story of a gay couple who does not shy away from professing their love for each other. Well, given that the plot revolves around a middle-class, small-town family, it becomes increasingly difficult as well as hilarious to see how Ayushmann and Jitendra’s character try and break the stereotype around same-sex couples.

In fact, every character in this movie, for some reason, gets a high out of killing people.

Shakuntala Devi

Summary: This upcoming Hindi movie is a biopic based on the life of the ‘Human Computer’ aka Shakuntala Devi. The film was originally supposed to hit the theatres in May but due to the pandemic, it will now release on an OTT platform. 

Lootcase

Summary: Lootcase is another upcoming Hindi movie you should watch out for. The story revolves around a guy who hits a jackpot when he finds a suitcase full of money. Problems arise when a politician, a cop and a gangster start chasing him for that suitcase.

Gangubai Kathiawadi

Summary: Based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai about Gangubai Kothewali, this upcoming Bollywood movie is about a young girl forced into prostitution. Even though the trailer of the film is yet to come out, Alia’s first look as the lead character was released, and it looked intense.

Sooryavanshi

Starring: Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn 

Summary: Sooryavanshi, which was earlier scheduled to release on March 24, was postponed indefinitely due to the lockdown. But now the film is going to hit the theatres on Diwali. This upcoming new Bollywood movie is the fourth film in Rohit Shetty’s famous cop-drama franchise — Singham, Singham 2 and Simmba.

Pareeksha – The Final Test
