After Met Gala, Natasha Poonawalla Goes To Cannes & We Have So Much To Say About Her Look

With the Festival de Cannes frenzy in full swing, the past week and a half has been really eventful for us at POPxo. From Deepika Padukone’s stellar fits to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s slightly strange ones, we have been keeping you updated with it all. However, things have been a little thanda since yesterday as most desi divas have left the French Riviera town. But just when we were quite sure that it was a wrap for the Indian fashionistas on the Cannes red carpet, Natasha Poonawalla decided to serve an exciting look.

Natasha made it to Cannes yesterday to attend the amfAR Gala (a high-profile event to raise money for AIDS research) and channelled some old Hollywood glamm in her Gucci gown. Here’s a low down on the look:

Holy Glamm! Natasha Poonawalla In Cannes

Earlier this month, Natasha made headlines with her Sabyasachi X Schiaparelli outfit at the Met Gala. Equal parts dramatic and glamm, the look had everyone’s attention. Exuding oodles of drama, Natasha’s Cannes look was no different. She opted for a lime green Gucci gown from the brand’s pre-fall 2022 show for the amfAR Gala.

Natasha’s Love Parade gown has our attention for the lime green hue and the sequinned fabric. The outfit pays homage to old world Hollywood and that explains the dramatic trumpet sleeves, the fringed hem, and the ruffled trail. We love the corset finish of her bodice and how a black bra and matching gloves have been added to enhance the drama. It is the Insta-famous heart-shaped clutch by Judith Leiber that pins the entire look together by providing a sharp contrast to the green gown.

Natasha’s look has been finished off with an ultra nude lippie, bright eyes, and dewy skin. We love the Shakira curls and are pretty sure this look would not have landed as well as it did without them.

This is a gutsy outfit and not everyone would have been able to carry it. Natasha has however managed that with flying colours. If only she would have served more of these killer looks at Cannes! Next year maybe.
