Grammys 2022! 10 Celebs Who Knocked Our Socks Off With Their Glorious Looks

What’s better than an epic award show red carpet? Two epic award show red carpets in a row, of course! Now, we must start by saying that while we might have abhorred the pandemic-induced lull, the fashion world did need a break. With hackneyed outfits and trying-too-hard styling, everything was beginning to look similar. Forget telling one ensemble from the other. It was getting hard to even differentiate between award shows. The Cannes, the Oscars, the Grammys—everything was beginning to look like one boring blob. A much-needed break (if not desired) later, things seem to be improving. Last week, we marvelled at the rather fashion-forward celeb congression at the 94th Academy Awards aka the Oscars. This week, we are waxing poetic after what transpired at the Grammys 2022.

For starters, the celebs unleashed full glamm mode at the Grammys 2022 red carpet. From barbie doll inspired candy floss pink to goth looks, there was something to everyone’s taste. Here are ten looks from the night that stood out for us:

Snoh Aalegra in Atelier Versace

It’s the corsetry inspired bodice in Snoh Aalegra’s Atelier Versace that’s fuelling all our sartorial dreams at the moment. We are equally in awe of that butt-high slit (dare we say?) and how it has been nicely highlighted with dangling tassels. Delicious!

Doja Cat In Atelier Versace

Instagram

You know that in the fashion world, there is a sheer dress hall of fame, right? Well, this Doja Cat look just made it to the top ten. That sensuously falling shoulder, the soft cerulean, the generous smattering of crystals—everything screams iconic!

Tiffany Haddish In Custom Prada

Sequins are still going strong and look particularly spectacular on Tiffany Haddish here. A trailing shoulder is a perfect recipe for a noteworthy look and the oversized bow at the back of Tiffany’s gown is nicely highlighting the detail.

Dua Lipa In Versace

Instagram

Dua Lipa gave a nod to the BDSM-inspired outfit trends this year by paying homage to Versace’s Bondage collection from 1992. Back in the 90s, it was labelled as the most provocative look and safe to say, it has aged well. The chunky jewellery styling is def doing its part to elevate the standout ensemble.

Lady Gaga In Custom Armani

Instagram

From out and out bizarre looks to mainstream classics, Lady Gaga has surely come a long way in her red carpet journey. She exuded old-Hollywood glamm in a custom Armani gown at the Grammys. Our favourite detail here? How that white silk accent gives a touch of flair to the otherwise straight garment. She pinned the asymmetrical look with pin-curls and we gotta say— score!

Rachel Zegler in Dior Haute Couture

Instagram

Speaking of winning classics, Rachel Zegler had us smitten in her all-tulle Dior Haute Couture gown. Crafted to perfection, the dove grey gown looked like it was pulled out of a pencil sketch and translated beautifully on the red carpet.

Saweetie In Custom Valentino

Instagram

Fuchsia pink is back in favour with 2022 red carpets and Saweetie gave us a co-ord look that does justice to the juicy hue. The gloves with her sculpted skirt and bralette top are giving us intense Bridgerton-but-make-it-sexy vibes.

SZA in Jean Paul Gaultier

Instagram

With ethereal nude tulle and applique flowers, SZA’s Jean Paul Gaultier gown was an exquisite beauty.

Billie Eilish In Rick Owens

Instagram

The singer walked the red carpet in a trademark Billie look. Comprising an oversized cape style jacket and layered dress, the outfit was styled to give goth vibes and it smashed.

Hailey Bieber in Saint Laurent

Instagram

In sharp contrast to her husband, Hailey Bieber trod the red carpet with a very ‘less-is-more- energy and had us impressed. Her Saint Laurent gown was simple yet impactful.

Tell us, fam, which one of these Grammys 2022 looks did you like the best?
