Before we share the facial steps with you, let's take a quick look at the ingredients

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1/2 cup of chamomile
  • 1/2 cup of rosemary
  • 1/2 cup of sage
  • 1/2 cup of thyme
  • 1/2 cup of lavender
  • 4 cups of water

How to do it:

Step 1: In a large container, pour 4 cups of water.

Step 2: Turn the heat on low.

Step 3: Once the water becomes hot and bubbles pop up, add all the herbs to it.

Note: If you don't have any of these herbs at home, you can also use essential oils or herbal teabags to do the facial.

Avoid placing your face too close to the steam as the heat can burn your skin. When taking steam, you must stay 12-14 inches away from the bowl. Another tip to keep in mind is to always wash your face before a steam facial. This tip will prevent any dirt and makeup residue from clogging your pores as soon as they open up. And finally, along with herbs, you can also add a few drops of essential oil to make the fragrance stronger.

Wasn't this DIY herbal steam facial recipe super easy to do? And the best part: It takes just 10-15 minutes to get you fresh, glowing skin.
