When you think about Delhi, you are immediately transported to Paranthe Wali Gali or the stalls lining up one after another at Dilli Haat. While you are at it, you might as well stop for some chaat at Lajpat Nagar market or momos at Majnu Ka Tila. The prospect of a crazy food adventure across Delhi sounds very dreamily enticing, but it would be logistically impossible.
To wade through the city’s infamous traffic and burning heat or searing cold is nothing less than a superhuman feat. But what if there was a shortcut to enjoying the best grub from all over Delhi at one location? It may sound too good to be true, but there is a place where your delicious daydreams will come alive.
Horn OK Please, Delhi's Happiest Food Festival, is back for its fifth edition and it's going to be bigger and better than ever! Having initially started as off as a food truck festival, the carnival soon became one of the most popular events in town owing to its unique recipe of fun and food.
Here you can travel the world in 80 different dishes on the 'Walking Street' right in the middle of the festival. From pocket-friendly kebabs and campus treats that won’t burn a hole in your pocket to decadent desserts and sweet treats, it has it all. Drop by at the 'Grub Campus' where everything delicious is under Rs 250 or the 'Dessert Lane' and the 'Kiddie Land' which has carnival games and rides for kids. Of course, you simply cannot miss the 'Food Truck Park' and its selection of street-styled gourmet foods.
There's More Than Just Food
Just case you get tired from your culinary escapades, you could walk over to the 'Quirk Bazaar'. Here you could shop for some funky tees, accessories, bags and a whole lot more. POPxo will be there as well, with our very own pop-up store. You could pick up trending notebooks and planners, phone covers and laptop sleeves as well as some cool coffee mugs and wall-clocks!
If you want to give the purchasing a miss and try out some adventure instead, the bull-ride and the silent disco are the places to be. All that fun and frolic can make you weary, so it’s a good thing that you can grab a drink at the 'Beer Garden' and chill as you watch some mesmerising live gigs. The roster includes performances by more than 20 homegrown artists and bands who’ll get you swinging to their beats. The list of activities just goes on and on.
Make sure you clear your weekend and postpone everything you had planned. Horn OK Please promises to be a mega event and we cannot wait to be there with all you guys. So, go on and grab your tickets right now!
