Wouldn’t it be great news if we got to know that Bollywood’s favourite couple – Ranveer and Deepika – are tying the knot even earlier than November? After all, we’re only waiting for the next big fat Bollywood wedding to hit our social media feeds! And this news would definitely cheer up all #DeepVeer fans (as they are known) if this is actually true. Well, turns out that, according to some sources, this might just be happening in the next 3-4 months; if reports are to be believed.
Sources close to the two have apparently revealed that Deepika’s parents flew down from Banglore to Mumbai some weeks ago to decide the wedding dates for their marriage. There was a long discussion that his said to have taken place at the actress’ Prabhadevi residence, which was later said to have been followed by a lavish dinner at The Four Seasons, Worli, in Mumbai.
“The wedding will take place as per South Indian rituals and high profile venues such as Taj Lands End, Four Seasons and St Regis are being considered as the venue. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a grand reception,” the source – supposed to be a well-placed insider – is said to have revealed.

In the past, reports have talked about the couple wanting a destination wedding which would be away from all the media attention – somewhat like Virat & Anushka’s wedding. However, according to insider sources, Ranveer’s parents are keen on having the wedding in Mumbai, since most of their relatives and family members live either in Mumbai, or Delhi.
Sources further allege that Deepika has been travelling to London, along with Ranveer’s parents and has started shopping for the wedding. Ranveer, on the other hand, could not join them as he has been busy shooting Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, opposite Alia Bhatt, in Mumbai.
Earlier, rumours were afloat of the two of them getting engaged in Sri Lanka, around the time of Deepika’s birthday. However, nothing was proven further on. Whose to say whether these are just rumours or real insider tidbits? We can only wait for time to reveal the truth. But, for once, we hope this is true!
