Kajol and Shahrukh Khan have a sort of chemistry that generations talk about. From Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, they are the unbreakable Bollywood jodi! They gave us Rahul and Anjali way before falling in love with your best friend was ‘cool’ and their iconic characters were millennials goals through our teenage years. But their off-screen friendship is what makes them relatable and oh-so-adorable! Which is why we are so excited about the fact that the actress will be seen doing a small scene in Shahrukh’s upcoming movie, Zero. When asked about working with the Baadshah again, she told PTI, “We actually shot for half-an-hour, but it was great. It’s always fabulous to work with him. He is a really amazing man to work with because he is 300 per cent involved in whatever he is doing. It’s great fun because Shahrukh is such a fine actor that it comes very naturally to work with him and alongside him.”

We all know he’s a fine actor, but of course being his best friend, Kajol had insights to offer, on both their work ethics, “I’ve come from a time when we used to work from 7 in the morning till 9 in the night on a daily basis without the comforts of sitting in an AC room. Somewhere down the line, you realise that work is God. You have to take it seriously every day, it’s the most important thing.”
The actors were last seen together in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale after a five-year gap post My Name Is Khan. It’s been three years since, now Kajol and Shahrukh will be seen in a special sequence together in his December release, Zero starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead. The film will also have a small cameo by his Chalte Chalte co-star, Rani Mukherjee.
