To make Seviyan Kheer, all you need is…
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 cup vermicelli
- ¼ cup kishmish
- 1 litre milk
- ¾ cup sugar
- 4 cardamom pods, crushed
- In a heavy saucepan, heat ghee. Add the vermicelli and kishmish and roast for a minute until golden brown.
- Add the milk and stir. Let it come to a boil.
- Once the milk has come to a boil, add the sugar and cardamom pods. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until the seviyan has cooked properly and the milk has been absorbed. Remove from heat and serve.
