It was a weekend of madness with tinsel town celebrating the grand wedding of socialite Poorna Patel to industrialist Namit Soni. The two had a lavish three days of partying and the entire affair was star-studded. Bollywood celebs, cricketers, and the buisness fraterinity all arrived to partake in the merriment and wow. From Mukesh Ambani and daughter Isha to SRK, Katrina Kaif and Sachin Tendulkar, B-town was there all ready to groove.
But the one we had our eyes on was the Dhoni fam. Sakshi Dhoni is BFFs with Poorna and even went for her bachelorette. Mahi, wifey and their li’l gem looked like the picture perfect family at all the functions. They danced, enjoyed and looked uber-chic in their ensembles. I mean, Ziva wore sneakers with her lehenga, could she be any more of a fashionista?!
Baby Ziva’s video dancing on Enrique Iglesias’ Bailando also went viral on social media and we can’t stop gleaming at her cutsey anctics.
Sakshi Dhoni nailed the bestie look by wearing the most stunning pastel lehengas for the functions. She chose a saree for the mehendi and for the sangeet but after that, she rocked some fresh lehenga choli designs.
She wore a Manish Malhotra creation in a pretty powder pink shade for one of the pre-wedding functions. The entire lehenga choli was intricately embroidered with sparkly threadwork and floral embellishments. She opted for a plunging neckline for that added oomph. She chose a layered diamond necklace and matching earrings to complete the look.
Doesn’t this blouse remind you of what Bebo wore at Manish Malhotra’s show? She walked the ramp with Kartik Aryan and boy did she look drop-dead-gorgeous?! Sakshi probably took inspiration from Kareena Kapoor too. While Sakshi’s was pink, Bebo’s was grey, however, the styles of the two outfits are pretty much the same.

For the reception too Mrs. Dhoni wore a plunging neckline blouse with a lehenga designed by Payal Singal. She dressed it in an Indo-western fashion, without a chunni and single string, long chain. The skirt had silver embroidery at the bottom and the blouse was full-sleeved along with puffed shoulder details. Oh, how we love us a good skirt and cropped top look!
Even during the other functions, Sakshi looked effortlessly glam and beyond happy for her best friend’s big day. For the mehendi she wore a yellow saree and it was radiance at its best.

She wore a burgundy saree for the sangeet night and danced away to celebrate!
The saree was designed by Manish Malhotra and it was subtle yet shimmery, perfect for a night occassion. The blouse was silver with sparkly details and the saree was complete with a ruffled border.
For the main day, she wore an Anita Dogre pastle pink lehenga with white floral details. She accessorised with jhumkas and matching bangles!
So yeah, fashionista? Fashionista.
