Khichdi began its journey back in 2002 and now, in 2018, they’ve have brought back the series with its third season. So like any other TV junkie, I couldn’t wait to watch this show again. And as the first episode hit television, I was mentally prepared to laugh my ass off. To be honest, though, it was an hour well spent! Here are the 15 thoughts I had while watching the first episode of this new season.
1. There’s the famous line!
“Jayshree, chai laa rahi ho ya bahar se mangwaoon?”
2. “Khabar main toh?”
I can’t believe I remember these dialogues, nostalgia is real, guys.
3. Jayshree & Babuji have the best relationship!
Their love-hate conversations are priceless.
4. Wait, WHAT? Is Baa in jail?
I need the backstory and I need it now.
5. ‘Moochon wale Hansa‘ aka Jamnadas Majethia is hilarious AF!
This show would just be pointless without this genius.
6. So all the actors are still funny!
I am so relieved that the punchlines are on point.
7. Wow, they’ve scammed a few people.
And are now living in a house with no walls, typical Praful.
8. “Kisiko pata nahi chalega”
Yes, Jayshree is trying to get Babuji killed again. No biggie.
9. Loving the house with no personal space.
Makes for some really good albeit dark jokes.
10. Our beloved bhabhi from Hum Aapke Hain Koun is now a lady don!
She’s definitely going to give them a run for their money.
11. Question, why is everyone wearing yellow?
Also, where are the kids?
12. Oh, here they are!
Smart as always, “badey log badey log”.
13. Now they’re all wearing blue!
Matching clothes is going to be a problem in the long run.
14. How are they suddenly in Manali?
Guess this show is never going to have a relevant storyline and we’ll never seem to care.
15. I can’t wait to watch the next episode!
The characters have me hooked once again.
