Fashion doesn’t come without its million little complications. In an effort to go with the flow, read wear something that’s in trend or might make one look fashionable, blunders are committed and they may not be small-scale each time. Needless to say, even our favourite Bollywood celebrities aren’t immune when it comes to committing a fashion faux pas. We looked at a few leading ladies of B-Town and their biggest fashion faux pas in recent times. Read on so that you don’t fall into the same trap!
1. Disha Patani

Wearing a pair of gladiators with just about anything could be termed as a faux pas, and Disha Patani wearing a pair with her white mini dress clearly didn’t work in her favour. If you are stuck in a rut, it’s a choice between sneakers or heels, ladies.
2. Athiya Shetty

We are all for metallic accents and all-over prints, but Athiya Shetty’s monochrome look is not what we would suggest if you love either of the two trends. Our suggestion, go easy, choosing between one and keeping it on the subtle end of things, rather than going overboard and committing a big fashion blunder.
3. Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone’s wedding trousseau was the stuff that our dreams are made of, and we were all in for this flapper-inspired red beaded dress too, but the hair and the chooda worn along with it is what makes it a major fashion faux pas. Sans the red bridal bangles and with the hair left loose, this look would have worked wonders.
4. Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor rarely has a bad outfit day, so you would know why a fashion faux pas from her would be shocking for us. As much as we love her personal style, this head-to-toe pink look missed the mark, as did the hair updo and the clunky footwear.
5. Janhvi Kapoor

For someone who has access to the best-known designers and brands, Janhvi Kapoor’s casual, breezy look was, well not so breezy. From the colour to the misplaced fringe detail, nothing worked in this outfit and neither did its fairly transparent nature.
6. Sara Ali Khan

Sara Ali Khan’s ripped jeans were the only saving grace in this fashion faux pas that featured an ill-fitting long shirt with an unsatisfactory print, shoddy footwear and unflattering earrings. We know Sara has got some great style, so this look was definitely one we hope to never see again.
7. Kareena Kapoor Khan

Whatever Kareena Kapoor Khan does, she does it flawlessly. This look from a public outing, however, was way off from the otherwise great sartorial style the actress steps out in. The extra-long tassel earrings; the printed skirt with limp gathers; the fitted top in a bad fabric and the enormous belt – nothing was in place in the entire ensemble, making it a gigantic fashion faux pas.
Let’s hope we never see our favourite Bollywood celebs in disappointing looks again!
