Delihi based lawyer turned fashionista Shreya Kalra of FTLOFAOT (For The Love Of Fashion And Other Things) became a fashion writer, when she realised that fashion satiated her appetite better than law! 1. What sparked your interest in fashion?
A lot of fashion magazines and a sister who loved her ‘hipsters’ just as well as her ‘mini skirts’, while I was growing up.
2. What is your first fashion memory?
The first really serious fashion memory would have to be the first fashion show I ever attended, which was at Delhi Couture Week, a few years back. Suddenly I was interacting with the likes of Arman and Ayan Ali Khan who were there to watch a certain designer’s show.
3. What is your personal style statement?
My personal style is very eclectic. I could be about prints one day and structured garments in monochrome another. Being a girly girl at heart, almost everything that I wear (including something as normcore as a boxy white shirt with a pair of boyfriend jeans), will always have an element of girly accessorizing in tow.
4. What made you take up blogging?
I began blogging when there were only about two to three prominent digital fashion bloggers in India. I started after I had stalked enough international ones to know what I wanted to contribute. Plus, I’m a writer at heart.
5. What would you like to tell all aspiring bloggers?
Bring something ‘you’ to the table and keep it original. There is enough and more space for each of us to have an individualistic fashion blog out there but there are no takers for cookie cutter #ootd mannequins. Bring something ‘you’ to the table.

Distressed jeans and a nice jacket. Mostly because of the timeless style quotient and comfort.

Skorts. Never really got the idea since it seemed like a waste of two very cool pieces of apparel to me.

I’m seriously navigationally/directionally challenged. Never ask me for directions. Never ask me to find a place all by myself.

My words.
10.If you could be anyone for a day, who would you like to be?
Currently, Mindy Kaling. I have feeling this idol worship will last a while.
