What Are Shanaya Kapoor’s Favourite Men’s Fragrances?
Shanya revealed in an interview, “I always wear men’s perfume; my two current favourites right now are Tom Ford Noir and Giorgio Armani – Acqua Di Gio.”
Both of Shanaya’s favourite perfumes have very different fragrance profiles. One of them is rich and heady while the other is more invigorating and salty.
#1 Tom Ford Noir
The Tom Ford Noir has top notes of Violet, Pink Pepper, Caraway, Bergamot and Verbena; heart notes of Tuscan Iris, Bulgarian Rose, black pepper, nutmeg, geranium and clary sage; and base notes of Indonesian patchouli leaf, amber, vanilla, civet, leather, opoponax, benzoin, vetiver and styrax. It is a woody amber fragrance that smells rich and indulgent. Tom Ford Noir costs Rs. 13,300.
Dupe: Axe Signature Gold Dark Vanilla & Oud Wood Perfume
The Axe Gold is a super affordable drugstore perfume that is loved by many and while it might not be exactly the same as the Tom Ford Noir, the Axe Gold is a rich and indulgent fragrance too. The two main notes in this perfume are vanilla (which is in the Tom Ford Noir as well) and agarwood (oud).

The Botanicae Matin A Mogador Unisex Eau De Perfume is a spicy floral fragrance that is very similar to Tom Ford Noir and it shares many fragrance notes as well. This scent has top notes of bergamot, violet, verbena, leather, cumin and benzoin; heart notes of iris, geranium, nutmeg, rose and Clary Sage; and base notes of amber, vanilla, patchouli, vetiver and civet.
#2 Giorgio Armani – Acqua Di Gio
The Giorgio Armani – Acqua Di Gio has top notes of lime, lemon, bergamot, jasmine, orange, mandarin orange and neroli; heart notes of aquatic notes, jasmine, peach, rosemary, freesia, hyacinth, cyclamen, violet, coriander, nutmeg, rose and mignonette; and base notes of white musk, cedar, oakmoss, patchouli and amber. It is a refreshing cologne that has hints of musk. Giorgio Armani – Acqua Di Gio retails at Rs. 5,270.

The Aeoronot Aqua Cordelia has a similar invigorating scent to that of Giorgio Armani – Acqua Di Gio and it also has almost the same fragrance notes. The Aqua Cordelia has top notes of freesia, pineapple, hyacinth, iris; heart notes of rose, lemon, muguet; and base notes of patchouli, musk, vetiver & amber.

The 4711 Acqua Colonia White Peach & Coriander Eau De Cologne is a budget-friendly alternative that has few but matching fragrance notes to the Giorgio Armani perfume. This scent has notes of white peach, coriander, citrus notes, green notes, and herbal notes.
