Sara Ali Khan’s Teal Makeup Look Spells All Things Festive & We Can’t Get Enough Of It!

Sara Ali Khan is one of those very few star kids who are successful at gaining mostly positive attention from the silver screen audience. From her fitness journey to her filmy obsession with Bollywood, Sara’s grounded and relatable attitude appeals to everyone.

Even when it comes to fashion and makeup, she is well known to race across a wide range of aesthetics to match her vibe – from Lukhnowi kurtas and no makeup days to a shimmery LBD with blue lids, you can trust Sara to do it all. Recently, she took to her Instagram to share an OTT makeup post and we’re penning down all the beauty notes for the coming festive season.

Step 1: Like Second Skin

Start by priming your face for a long-lasting foundation base. Then use a dewy-finish foundation that gives your makeup base a natural look. Conceal your problem areas with a true tone concealer and brighten your under-eye area with a concealer shade not lighter than one or two shades from your skin tone.

Step 2: It’s All In The Eyes

The eyeshadow look is the hero of this makeup, and you can simply achieve it at home too. First, prime your eyes with either a concealer or an eyeshadow primer for the bright eyeshadow colours to pop. Secondly, go over your entire eyelid with a light blue eyeshadow. Next, pick up a teal blue foil pigment and start blending it from your inner lid to the centre of your lid. Then you can pick a black eyeshadow shade and start blending it from the outer crease of your lid to the centre for a subtle smokey eye. Take the same black pigment and apply it under your waterline for an exaggerated effect. Top it off with some of the teal foil pigment we used before.

Step 3: The Blush Babe Look

Slightly apply a little amount of blush on the top of your cheekbones for a lifting effect. Blend well and make sure to not leave any harsh lines or unblended patches.

Step 4: Keeping It Basic With A Nude Lip

We do not want to drive attention away from the eyes, so we should stick with a nude lip, Line (or overline) your lips with a nude lip liner for a plumped effect, and go over your lips with the same shade of lipstick.

Have you shortlisted this banging makeup look for your festive diaries yet?
