RIP Logic! Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s Dumb Comments In BB Have Us Scratching Our Heads

There is no denying the fact that we have seen our share of horrible Bigg Boss sanchalaks. In most cases, these sanchalaks were obviously trying to make their favourite win and thus resorted to cheating and sly tricks. The mind goes back to Paras Chhabra in season 13, Dipika Kakar in season 12, and Shamita Shetty in Bigg Boss OTT to name a few. However, the kind of sanchalan Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been doing this week definitely takes the cake. The credit, of course, goes to her wackadoo logic that has left the netizens scratching their heads.

It all started earlier this week with the prize money task in which the non VIPs had to compete against the VIPs. During the task, the non-VIPs had to reclaim the money that they lost in the initial weeks of Bigg Boss and the opposite team had to stop them from doing so. The non VIP team, which included Umar Riaz, Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Shamita Shetty, Rajiv Adatia, Pratik Sehajpal, and Nishant Bhat, looked quite determined to win this task. They also gave their very best and managed to win both rounds. Sadly, all their hard work went down the drain when sanchalak Devoleena refused to declare them as the winners. However, it is definitely Devoleena’s other-worldly logic that is sadder than the fact that she has been cheating on the task. Scroll through for every illogical comment that she has made in the past couple of days and you’d be nodding in agreement:

Hawa Se Protection ‘Coz Why Not

For the first installment of the task, both the teams were supposed to collect coins from the pool and keep them in separate jars. The task announcement letter also mentioned that they were themselves responsible for taking care of the coins collected by them. This is when the non-VIPs decided to trick the VIPs and steal their share of coins as well. Devoleena, however, was on her own trip and declared that they have been disqualified from the round ‘coz of ‘cheating.’ After that, a lot of gharwalas tried to explain to her that this was actually allowed in the task given that Bigg Boss had specified that they need to protect their jars. Shamita even went to Devoleena and asked “why would they ask us to protect the jars” when stealing was not even allowed?” However, to everyone’s surprise, Devoleena had the most nonsensical answer to this question. She said, “Protect karna matlab hawa se bhi coins gir jaate hein toh use protect karna tha.” Well, the internet hasn’t stopped laughing ever since.

Talented Ho? Devo No Like!

In the past three days, Tejasswi has consistently aced three different tasks but hasn’t won even one. Why’s that you ask? ‘Coz merit is not a good enough reason for Devoleena to declare her as the winner. In Monday’s episode,  when Tejasswi beat Rashami by collecting more coins in a swimming task, Devoleena very nonchalantly dismissed it by saying, “but she is a better swimmer.” Yesterday, when Karan and Tejasswi managed to score more goals in the polo task, she quickly laid it on Shamita for helping them and added that Tejasswi has done Khatron Ke Khiladi so it was obviously easier for her. In the last task, where everyone had to make a clay sword, Teja’s effort was again dismissed with the excuse that ‘she makes bappa at home every year. Of course, she is good at it.’ Umm excuse me, Devoleena, but people win because they are good at something. That’s like basic logic…errrr…never mind!

Only “Males” Deserve To Win This Season

Last night in the live feed, Devoleena was heard discussing the non VIP contestants and making a comment on how only the “male” contestants deserve to win this season. I mean, of course, the men will win when every time a woman is winning, you sabotage her task by nonsensically commenting on how good she is at it.

Clearly, logic is not one of Devoleena’s strongest suits. Well, it would be interesting to see how far she goes in the game with her inability to listen to other people.
