Something weird is happening between Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat in the Bigg Boss OTT house right now. While the two of them are clearly drawn to each other, it looks like they are also resisting it. This is creating a lot of friction between Raqesh and Shamita and the frequent fights and meltdowns are proof enough. Just last night, the two ended up getting in a fight after Shamita very adamantly asked him to stop talking to Divya Agarwal. Tired of the same old drama, Raqesh asked her for a break and later told Neha Bhasin that he cannot be around Shamita anymore as it’s affecting his health. Raqesh then went to sleep without making amends with her like he usually does.
Shamita could be seen equally shaken after seeing the sudden change in Raqesh and it was later at night that she broke down while talking to Neha. During the conversation, Shamita accepted that she has been too harsh on him and ended up making a heartbreaking revelation. She shared that her first boyfriend died in a car accident and all this insecurity and controlling nature is a result of her painful past. “For so long, meri zindagi mein, I didn’t allow anybody, mujhe itna waqt laga (it took me a lot of time) to get myself together, to put the pieces back together,” Shamita said while explaining that this is why she is extremely possessive about the people she loves.

While Neha quietly listened to Shamita and consoled her, she also tried to reason with her about Raqesh who has been nothing but kind and understanding all this while. It’s very evident that he has fallen for Shamita and has been trying his best to win her love and trust. However, she always appears a tad too distant in the house and has been living in her own shell. That said, there is no doubt that Shamita too has feelings for Raqesh. Unfortunately, the two have come to the house with a lot of emotional baggage. Perhaps it would help their case if they could lay it down and have a heart-to-heart conversation–something that is not an easy feat when you are surrounded by hundreds of cameras in the BB house. Here’s hoping that the two mend their differences and give us the epic BB love story that we have all been waiting for.
