One thing that Umar Riaz made very very clear upon his entry into the Bigg Boss house was that ‘he is single and ready to mingle.’ Sadly, it did not quite pan out for him as per plans. In the initial weeks, just when he was beginning to connect with Donal Bisht, she was voted out by the rest of the housemates. Then the other girl he had his eyes on, Tejasswi Prakash, who ended up falling for Karan Kundrra and thus Umar was left with no choice but to wait for the wild cards. Well, the makers really did play it dirty for Umar with the first set of wild cards that included Rajiv Adatia, Raqesh Bapat, and already married Neha Bhasin. However, just when our doctor sahib was beginning to give up, Rashami Desai entered the house and well, things have been quite rosy for Umar ever since.
For the unversed, the two were good friends even before season 15 and they seem to be finding comfort in each other in the Bigg Boss house now. It was quite apparent during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode just a day after Rashami’s entry. She could be seen clearly supporting Umar and getting happy after a task where he effectively shut Shamita Shetty and made some very good points. The jubilant expression on the actress’s face did not go unnoticed and soon enough the #UmarRiazArmy on Twitter was talking about how he has finally found the kind of woman that he deserves.
But that’s not it. Both Umar and Rashami appear genuinely fond of each other and have been spending a lot of time together. During the Monday episode, Devoleena Bhattacharjee was also seen shipping their bond as she played Vishwasundri and quizzed them about how they felt. “Aapko aapki yeh nayi dost kaisi lagti hai,” she started off by asking Umar who immediately replied by saying, “Bahut hi achchai lagti hain. Bhut hi pyaari hain, meri bahut acchi dost hain.” Rashami had a similar response to the question and said, “Bahut achcha lagta hai Vishwasundri.”
Umar fans who watch live footage of the show have also been noticing their cute banter and are now pretty sure that they are going to create the next big Bigg Boss love story. Just yesterday, Rashami needed to borrow some clothes and Umar happily volunteered to share his T-shirts. This is when she looked at him and said, “Yes, you are the only one that I know in the house and can actually ask for something. I mean, I can not say anything about you but for me, you are the only person that I trust here. ” Later, he was also seen discussing the game with Rashami and assuring her that just because he decides to play with his own team, does not mean that he has changed in any way. “With tasks and duties, I need to be with my friends, but I don’t want you to think I have changed. After WKW Karan is actually scared and woh mere se dekha nahi jaa rha” he told her candidly.
Oh, and it is not just Umar and Rashami fans who have been noticing their crackling chemistry. The other day, Karan also jokingly referred to Rashami as “bhabhi” and she seemed to have no problem with that. Well, from the looks of it, this might very well culminate into the next epic Bigg Boss romance and we are here for it.
