It seems like bangs were the hair trend of the season with almost everyone chopping off their hair in the past few months. Blame it on the lockdown boredom or blame it on the fact that salons were shut for the longest time but people really took to this trend of cutting their hair and you know what- they weren’t as disastrous as people would have thought.
Now, jumping on the bangs bandwagon is our very own desi girl, Priyanka Chopra. She just shared a video on Instagram where is she seen rocking this new hairstyle and it totally suits her. Leaving her hair wavy and voluminous, she kept her fringe completely straight and looked gorgeous!
If you thought bangs were only for kids and teenagers, here is PeeCee smashing the stereotype for you. Not only did she chop the front section of her hair, she even went a tad bit shorter to the rest of her length. She even steered away from her light brown and gold highlights and went a couple of shades darker.

- Cut it when your hair is completely dry to get a clear idea of the length of your bangs.
- Using a wide-toothed comb map out the section you want to cut in the front.
- Keep your fingers at the final length you want your fringes to be and start snapping. We suggest you start small and keep the length longer- take your time with this because you can always go shorter, but if you cut it too short, you’re kinda stuck!
- Do not cut your hair straight- point your scissors at a 70-degree angle and then start snipping.
- Keep looking at the length in a mirror.
- Style it with a blowdryer and hair straightener cause honestly it’s all about styling it right for your hair type.
